Who Am I?

My name is Justin, and I’m the creator of Max Effect Fitness and The Phasic Fat Loss Program. For most of my 20s, I was addicted to drugs. I had no drive or motivation, I cared nothing for my own well-being or physical health, and I had no future. When I got sober, I was 43 pounds overweight, my body and my metabolism were wrecked, and it felt like I was destined to be unhealthy for the rest of my life as a result of my terrible choices.

But I made a commitment to never allow anything to control me again. So I began learning how to manage my weight and my physical health so that I could regain my youthful energy, feel good about my health and body, and experience complete freedom over my life.

It was by coming out of this struggle that I was able to develop a process that has allowed me to effortlessly remain between 11-13% body fat, have the health and live the lifestyle that I want, and not have to spend a ton of time managing it. And my mission over the past 8 years has been to help people permanently change their physical health by teaching the truth about what is necessary for long-term, sustainable transformation.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can I register?

You can register at any time. The 6 week, Accelerated Jumpstart Program will “officially” start when you are admitted into the program. You will gain immediate access to all materials and resources, and you can begin losing weight right away!

Is this a good price for coaching?

Well, you may think I’m a little bit biased here...lol. But honestly, you’ll be paying less than you would for a personal trainer at the gym. And a personal trainer will just be shooting the breeze with you as they watch you exercise. Not to mention: Exercise only accounts for about 5% of your weight loss results. So yea, less than $100/week for coaching calls, 24/7 support, and a lifetime of skills that you’ll be able to apply to your long term success is a steal! ;)

Couldn’t I do this on my own?

This is a great question–and one that I used to ask myself all of the time. But it was only after I took the leap and really started to invest in coaches of my own that I began to experience exponential results, nonstop momentum, and continual forward progress.
We live in a world that is constantly pulling us away from our goals. Distractions, busyness, everyone vying for your attention; all of these combine to throw you off track and lead to inconsistency and poor results. I can’t convince you to join, but what I can say is what has worked for myself and so many others I have coached: When you invest in yourself, use the resources in this program, narrow your focus to the exact outcome you want to achieve, and get help when you need it…that’s when your life can begin to drastically transform!
So could you do this on your own? Sure…but ask yourself: “How has that worked out for me so far?”

My schedule is incredibly busy…will I be able to do this?

Yep! This program is built specifically for people with busy schedules. I have an incredibly busy schedule, and I know how difficult it can be to even attempt to add another “priority” to my list of To-Do’s. That’s why this program is made to be as simple-to-follow for you, while still remaining massively effective and impactful. We’re going to remove all of the stuff that doesn’t matter–and focus only on the real needle-movers for weight loss–so you have less to focus on!

I’ve failed at staying consistent with dieting and losing weight in the past, will this work for me?

That’s exactly what this program is for. You’re going to become the type of person who CAN be consistent, adherent, and accomplish what you say you’ll do. This program is made to be as simple as possible (while still remaining effective). It may be challenging at times–as you will be implementing some new lifestyle changes–but if you stick with it, use the accountability, and learn from the mindset trainings provided, you will come out of these 6 weeks as an entirely transformed person!

How do I access the program materials?

All of the course modules, electronic resources, and recorded group calls will be accessible 24/7 within the Phasic Fat Loss Facebook group.
Weekly Phasic Coaching calls calls will be held LIVE via Zoom. If you can’t attend the live calls, no worries though! All of these calls will be recorded and posted into the Facebook group, so you can watch them when your schedule allows!

How do I contact my coaches if I have questions?

You have several options for contacting your coaches; we want you to have as much support as you need. If you can’t attend the live coaching calls, you can always tag me in the Facebook group and I will personally respond to you. You’ll also have the option of emailing questions before the live calls.

I don’t like Facebook…can I still participate?

I understand this–this may surprise you, but I personally don’t like social media either (lol)! But in order to access the course materials, you’ll have to join the Facebook group. The group is also your key to staying accountable and continuing to move forward. If you don’t particularly like Facebook, just join the group for the next 6 weeks (you don’t have to use your personal profile outside of being in the group). If you absolutely refuse to join Facebook for 6 weeks, you'll still have access to everything but the group.

What if I can’t attend the LIVE coaching calls?

If you can’t attend the coaching calls live with us on Zoom, you’ll still have access to the recording within the Facebook group. You can also submit questions ahead of time to ensure they’re answered in each week’s call.

I’m an introvert–do I have to participate in the calls?

This one I get–I’m totally an introvert (and tend to not talk during group calls)...but I’m working on overcoming it! If you absolutely do not wish to participate in the calls, you don’t have to; you can leave your camera off and your microphone muted. But the people who are the most engaged do tend to experience the greatest results…just saying ;)

Will I be able to participate if I have specific dietary restrictions?

You sure can! The Accelerated Jumpstart Program focuses on quality, nutrient-dense, and real food. As long as you’re eating real food 80% of the time, you can follow vegan, gluten-free, paleo, keto, Mediterranean, or any other dietary preferences. Unless your dietary restrictions include “only McDonald’s,” you’ll be able to participate! ;)

What comes after the 6 week Accelerated Jumpstart Program?

You’ll have more energy, be leaner, have greater confidence and satisfaction in life, and you’ll know exactly what you need to do in order to keep the progress moving forward! You’ll also have the option to continue following the Jumpstart program (either on your own or with continued access to coaching calls and accountability), or you can decide to move into an even more rapid period of fat loss (really fast fat loss)!

Will I regain the weight after I complete the Accelerated Jumpstart Program?

This is an understandable concern–more than 70% of the “programs” on the weight-loss market specifically produce short term results that never last more than several months. That’s not what Phasic Fat Loss is about. Phasic Fat Loss focuses on the TRUTH–on what really matters for long term weight loss, health, and nutrition.
If you continue to follow everything that you will learn and implement in The Phasic Fat Loss Program, you’ll be able to easily keep the weight off for the rest of your life.

What if I've failed a weight loss program before?

Welcome to the club! I've been among the 95% of people who lose weight every year, only to regain most or all of it back in a fraction of the time it took to lose it. Until I discovered and implemented the concepts outlined in Phasic Fat Loss! The Phasic Fat Loss Program focuses only on what really matters for long term weight loss.
